How it works

Every month we’ll select a title personalised to your reading tastes, gift wrap it, and deliver it with a bar of Tony's Chocolonely, and a subscriber-exclusive bookmark in Month 1!

3 months - £18.33 per month

Three paperbacks delivered over three months, each accompanied by a bar of Tony's Chocolonely.

6 months - £17.50 per month

Six paperbacks delivered over six months, each accompanied by a bar of Tony's Chocolonely.

12 months - £15.83 per month

Twelve paperbacks delivered over twelve months, each accompanied by a bar of Tony's Chocolonely.

FAQs

What happens after I buy?

We’ll send you a short survey with some questions (who is the subscription for, how do we best contact them, etc.) to kick things off. Then we’ll sort out book preferences and where to deliver them, and we’re off!

If you’re buying the subscription as a gift and you'd like a gift card to give to the recipient, you can either collect one from our shop or download the gift card image from the gallery on the left (right click on the image and select Save Image).

How do you choose the books each month?

We look at any notes you've given us about your reading preferences and your order history (what we've sent your before), then choose a book from the latest releases. By picking a recent release we minimise the chance of sending you something you've read before and, hopefully, introduce you to a new author.

When will I receive my book each month?

We post all the subscriptions on the 1st of each month and they should be with you by the 5th.

The cut-off date for new subscriptions is the 15th of the month e.g. if you sign up for a subscription before the 15th January then we'll post your first subscription on 1st February, if you sign up after 15th January we'll post your first subscription on 1st March.

What happens if I already have the book you've sent me?

Contact us within a week of receiving it and we'll arrange to send you a replacement. As above, contact us within a week of receiving it and we'll arrange to send you a replacement. You will be responsible for returning the unwanted book back to us in mint condition, either by post or by dropping it of at our shop in Bristol.
